Don Powell Founder And Drummer With Slade
Don Powell was one of the founders of the iconic band Slade. He is a cheerful, bouyant individual who refuses to grow old and put away his drum sticks despite being in his 70's. He now lives in Denmark and has formed a band with some well known Danish musicians. They are called "Don And The Dreamers" They have just released a new album called, fittingly, "It Is Never Too Late To Be A Rockstar" . The single taken from the album is "My Baby Left Me" You will hear that track at the beginning of the interview. Don is a great guy. The sort of person if you met him in a pub you would want to spend the rest of the evening chatting to.
